Account Settings

ON THIS PAGE YOU'LL FIND:


ABOUT YOUR ACCOUNT

The account area allows you to perform basic tasks such as changing your password or adding two-factor authentication.

To access your account, click on your name in the top-right corner of your account and select account from the dropdown.

CHANGE EMAIL AND PASSWORD

Under your user information, you can change your email and password.

To change your email:

  1. Click on your name in the top-right corner of your account and select account from the dropdown.
  2. Under user information, edit the email address.
  3. The changes will be saved immediately.

To change your password:

  1. Click on your name in the top-right corner of your account and select account from the dropdown.
  2. Under user information, click on change password.
  3. Enter the current password and continue to enter and reenter your new password.
  4. The changes will be saved immediately.

Your password has to follow these requirements:

  • The minimum password length is 8 characters
  • There are no complexity requirements nor do passwords expire
  • After 5 unsuccessful attempts within 30 minutes, your account will be locked for 10 minutes and Captcha security will be enforced. We have Captcha security on all critical endpoints. Captcha is enforced when logging in after 5 invalid attempts from the same IP within 30 minutes.
  • Sessions do not expire, this means that we do not log you out automatically, you have to do this yourself.
tip.png We recommend a password that contains more than 8 characters and has numbers, upper and lower case letters, as well as special characters. The longer the password, the better. Avoid using names, birthdays, common dates, and obvious words or phrases that describe the website the password is for.

CHANGE ACCOUNT LANGUAGE

Your account language defines the platform language and the default language for the surveys you create. Enalyzer supports English, Danish, Dutch, French, German, Norwegian, Swedish, Spanish, and Latin American Spanish.

  1. Click on your name in the top-right corner of your account and select account from the dropdown.
  2. Under account settings, open the language dropdown and change to the language you desire.
  3. Your changes will be saved immediately.

ADD PROFILE PICTURE

Your profile picture will be shown to your teammates in organizations and workspaces.

  1. Click on your name in the top-right corner of your account and select account from the dropdown.
  2. Click on the circle with the placeholder profile shadow and find the profile picture on your computer to upload it.
  3. Your changes will be saved immediately.

CONFIGURE TWO-FACTOR AUTHENTICATION

Add an extra layer of security with two-factor authentication (2FA). It provides stronger security for your Enalyzer account by protecting it with both your password and your phone. 

Logging in with your email and password is considered a single-factor authentication. 2FA adds an extra layer of security, in the case of Enalyzer an auto-generated 6-digit code. Therefore, logging into your account will work differently:

  1. Whenever you log into your account, you'll have to enter your email and password as usual.
  2. You'll be asked to enter a 6-digit verification code which is automatically generated by the authentication app you're using.

HOW IT PROTECTS YOU

  • Adds a layer of protection. Without 2FA, you only have your password to protect your account. With 2FA, if someone gets hold of your password, they'll still need your phone to get into your account.
  • Unique verification code. The authentication app will constantly generate new codes for you to use when logging in. Each code can only be used once before it expires.

HOW TO SET IT UP

  1. Click on your name in the top-right corner of your account and select account from the dropdown.
  2. Under user information, click on configure two-factor authentication.
  3. Download and install one of the following authenticating apps:
    • Google Authenticator
    • Duo Mobile
    • Authy
    • Windows Phone Authenticator
  4. Open the authentication app, click on the + icon at the top right corner of the app, and scan the QR code available inside your account.
  5. Enter the 6-digit verification code and click enable.

Next time you log into your account, you'll be asked for your email, password, and authentication code. 

IMPORTANT: In case you lose your two-factor access, we use your phone number as a backup. Please make sure the phone number you've provided us with is up-to-date.

GRANTING ENALYZER SUPPORT ACCESS TO YOUR ACCOUNT

We are ready to help you whenever you need it, however, we cannot access your account unless you choose to grant us access. Prior to granting us access, contact support with your query and you'll receive a ticket number which you'll have to insert in the system.

  1. Click on your name in the top-right corner of your account and select account from the dropdown.
  2. Under account settings, click on grant Enalyzer Support access to your account.
  3. Enter the support ticket ID you've received from our support team.
  4. Click grant access.
  5. Support will receive a link that grants them access to your account for 12 hours.

Now we can access your account and give you better assistance.

tip.png The access to your account is only for Enalyzer Customer Success Team. Absolutely no one else will be able to access your account except for you and the CST representative.

MANAGE LINKED ACCOUNTS

Linking your social media to your Enalyzer account can make it easier for you to log in, however, you can always unlink these accounts. This might be useful if you ever lose your phone.

  1. Click on your name in the top-right corner of your account and select account from the dropdown.
  2. Select account.
  3. Under linked accounts, unlink the social media account(s) you want.
  4. Your changes are saved automatically.

If you're ever unsure where your Enalyzer account is logged in? You can log out everywhere with a click of a button.

  1. Click on your name in the top-right corner of your account and select account from the dropdown.
  2. Select account.
  3. Scroll to the bottom of your account settings, and click log out everywhere.
  4. You have now logged out from all devices.

To increase your security, we recommend you unlink your social media accounts before logging out everywhere.

INVOICES

If you need your invoice for your accounting department for tax calculations, you can email invoices from your account.

  1. While logged in, click on the user menu at the top right of the homepage.
  2. Select account.
  3. In the side menu, select invoices.
  4. Click on the invoice you want to email and click send.

Invoices are sent to the email provided in your subscription settings. To change it, follow these steps:

  1. While logged in, click on the user menu at the top right of the homepage.
  2. Select account.
  3. Under the invoices section of your account information, enable the send via email setting.
  4. Insert the email you want invoices to be sent to.
  5. Your changes will be saved automatically.

ACCOUNT LOG

Your account log helps you stay updated with, and have an overview of, the activities that take place in your account.

  1. Click on your name in the top-right corner of your account and select account from the dropdown.
  2. Select log* in the side menu (if the side menu is not open click the menu icon (burger.PNG) to open it first).
  3. If you are looking for specific dates, choose your from and to dates and click refresh.

DELETE ACCOUNT

  1. Click on your name in the top-right corner of your account and select account from the dropdown.
  2. Scroll to the bottom and click thinking of leaving Enalyzer? 
  3. A screen will pop up asking if you are sure. If you still wish to delete, click on delete my account
  4. A new screen will now appear confirming the deletion of your account. 
tip.png When you delete your account, your survey content and data will also be deleted and it cannot be retrieved.

FAQs

HOW DO I UPGRADE MY FREE ACCOUNT?

With Enalyzer, you can upgrade and downgrade your plan whenever you want!

  1. Click on your name in the top-right corner of your account and select account from the dropdown.
  2. Click on upgrade now and select the plan you want to upgrade to. Check out our plans and what they include.
  3. Click on the checkbox next to coupon code, if you have one, and enter your personal information. Here you can also see the billing details.
  4. Click next.
  5. Enter your credit card details and accept the terms of payment. If you are just changing your current subscription, you don't need to input new payment information.
  6. Click pay now to upgrade.
