Share Charts

About Sharing Charts

Sometimes you might need to share a single chart instead of the entire report. When you share a chart online, Enalyzer creates a shared version of your chart which you can update or delete whenever you want.

Share Charts

To share your chart online, you have to:

  1. Go to your report and select content on the side menu. If the menu is closed click on the menu icon () to open it first.
  2. Click on the chart's heading to open the edit chart side menu.
  3. Click on settings.
  4. Under share, click on share chart.
  5. You now have the following options:
    • Link: Use this link to share your chart.
    • Embed code: Use this code to embed your chart on your website/blog.
    • Anonymity level: Enable this feature to set a minimum of responses needed before the data can be shown to those you share your chart with. This ranges from 0 - 10. Learn more about Anonymity Levels.

Update Shared Charts

If you make any changes to a chart you've shared, they will not be made available to your readers unless you update the changes to the shared version of the chart. To update it, you have to:

  1. Go to your report and select content on the side menu. If the menu is closed click on the menu icon () to open it first.
  2. Click on the chart's heading to open the edit chart side menu.
  3. Click on settings.
  4. Under share, click on chart shared.
  5. Click the update button.
  6. You'll see a pop-up confirming that your update was successful.

Stop Sharing Charts

If you ever want to stop sharing your chart, all you have to do is:

  1. Go to your report and select content on the side menu. If the menu is closed click on the menu icon () to open it first.
  2. Click on the chart's heading to open the edit chart side menu.
  3. Click on settings.
  4. Under share, click on chart shared.
  5. Click the delete button to delete the shared version of your chart.

Deleting the shared version of your chart does not delete your original chart in your report.

After the shared version of your chart is deleted, people with the link will no longer have access. If you have embedded your chart in your website/blog, it will not be available anymore either.

Data Updates in Shared Charts

To make sure that readers are seeing the newest data, we have the auto-update data for shared charts and reports setting in reports activated by default under the report's settings. The auto-update data setting updates report data every 10 minutes when a reader is viewing the report for no more than an hour. To request new updates, the reader has to refresh the page.
