Report Charts

FREQUENCY CHARTS

Frequency charts show how the response frequency is distributed among the different response options.

  1. Go to your report*, click on the add report element icon (add-chart.PNG), and select frequency.
  2. Select the variable the chart will be based on and click the add button. Your chart will be created and added to the bottom of your report immediately.

COMPARISON CHARTS

Comparison charts cross two or more variables.

  1. Go to your report*, click on the add report element icon (add-chart.PNG), and select comparison.
  2. Select the first variable or set of variables, and click next.
  3. Select the second variable or set of variables, you will compare the first set with, and click add. Your chart will be created and added to the bottom of your report immediately.

TIME SERIES CHARTS

A time series chart is an illustration of data points at successive time intervals.

  1. Go to your report*, click on the add report element icon (add-chart.PNG), and select time series.
  2. Select the variable the chart will be based on and click next.
  3. Select the time variable you will be crossing the previous variable with. You can choose between survey startup time and survey invitation time.
  4. Once you've chosen your second variable, click next.
  5. Choose a time period for your chart. You can define your own time period or use the dropdown menu to choose a predefined time period.
  6. Once you've chosen a time period, click add.
  7. Your chart will be created and added to the bottom of your report immediately.

TOP/BOTTOM CHARTS

Top/Bottom charts visualize the strongest and weakest data points which allow the reader to understand what is working and/or what needs improvement. Furthermore, Enalyzer Top/Bottom charts are dynamic, so the top and/or bottom items shown in reports change as new data comes in.

To add Top/Bottom charts to reports, you have to:

  1. Go to your report*, click on the add report element icon (add-chart.PNG), and select Top/Bottom.
  2. If you want to see your top ratings select top. If you want to see your bottom ratings select bottom. Define the maximum number of items you want to view in your chart and click next.
  3. Select the variables you want to observe and click add.
  4. Your chart will be created and added to the bottom of your report immediately.

THEME OVERVIEW CHARTS

Surveys are often divided into themes that can consist of one or more questions. Usually, matrix questions will be used to cover a theme. Now, you can compare these themes in one single chart.

To add a theme overview chart, you have to:

  1. Go to your report*, click on the add report element icon (add-chart.PNG), and select theme overview.
  2. Select the variables (themes) you would like to include in the chart and click next.
  3. Your chart will be created and added to the bottom of your report immediately.

COUNTER CHARTS

Counter charts can help you keep an eye on your goals. Counter charts count one variable and allow you to set a target, so you can watch as you reach it!

  1. Go to your report*, click on the add report element icon (add-chart.PNG), and select counter.
  2. Click on the variable the chart will be based on.
  3. Define your count by selecting the category (or categories) you will be counting and click next.
  4. Under name, you can give your chart a descriptive name, e.g. good reviews. The chart will take on the name of the variable it is based on.
  5. Under target, define the target's format (percentage/number) or choose to not specify your target. If you choose the latter, the target will be the same as the total amount of respondents.
  6. Click add and your chart will be created and added to the bottom of your report immediately.
