Survey Dashboard

About the Survey Dashboard

The Survey Dashboard gives you an overview of a specific survey and provides access to the survey features available to you.

What you see on the Survey Dashboard depends on your role and permissions. For example, you may be able to edit the survey, view responses, access reports, or manage automations and workspaces.

Navigate to the Survey Dashboard

You can access the Survey Dashboard through the Survey library.

To navigate to a Survey Dashboard:

  1. Go to the Home Page.
  2. Open Surveys or click Access your surveys, depending on your role.
  3. Find the survey you want to access in the Survey library.
  4. Click on the survey to open its Survey Dashboard.

The Survey library contains surveys you own as well as surveys that have been shared with you. You can use the available filters to find the survey you are looking for.

Survey Dashboard by Role

The Survey Dashboard adapts to your role and permissions. This means that the information and actions available on the dashboard may differ between users accessing the same survey.

Select your role below to see what is available to you.

  • Collaborators can use the Survey Dashboard to access and manage the survey and its related features.

From the Survey Dashboard, you can access:

    • Survey – open and edit the survey content.
    • Reports – access existing reports or create a new report.
    • Completed responses – view the number of completed responses for the survey.
    • Automations – access automations associated with the survey.
    • Workspaces – access workspaces associated with the survey.
  • Collectors have access to the survey information and features relevant to collecting responses.

From the Survey Dashboard, you can access:

    • Survey opens the Responses page, where you can view and manage the respondents you have collected.
    • Reports – view reports available to you.
    • Completed responses – view the number of responses from your own respondents.
    • Automations & Workspaces – these sections are displayed but do not contain information for Collectors.
  • Report Readers can use the Survey Dashboard to access reports that have been shared with them for a specific survey.

The Survey Dashboard only displays the Reports section. Other sections, such as Survey, Completed responses, Automations, and Workspaces, are not available to Report Readers.

    To access a shared report:

    1. On the Survey Dashboard, find the Reports section.
    2. Click the report you want to view.

Only reports that have been shared with you are displayed on the Survey Dashboard. As a Report Reader, you can view these reports but cannot create new reports.

The Shared Reports library has been removed. Shared reports are now accessed through the Survey Dashboard of the survey they belong to.

  • Report Version Readers use the Survey Dashboard to access specific report versions that have been shared with them.

The Survey Dashboard displays the Reports section. The Survey, Completed responses, Automations, and Workspaces sections are not displayed.

    To open a report version:

    1. Find the report version in the Reports section.
    2. Click the report version you want to view.

Only report versions that have been shared directly with you are displayed. Having access to one report version does not give you access to all versions of the report.

  • Category Readers have access to survey information based on the categories they have been assigned.

The Survey Dashboard provides access to:

    • Survey – access the Responses page available to you as a Category Reader.
    • Reports – access reports available to you.
    • Completed responses – view the number of completed responses that match the categories you have access to.

The Automations and Workspaces areas do not contain information for Category Readers.

If you have multiple roles for the same survey, the Survey Dashboard is adjusted according to your highest applicable role. When you click Survey, you will be asked to select which role you want to access the survey as.

You can sort reports by:

  • Name (A–Z) – displays reports alphabetically by name.
  • Newest first – displays the newest reports or report versions first.

Select the preferred sorting option from the report section of the Survey Dashboard.
