Collectors

About Collectors

Survey administrators and collaborators can give organization members collector access to their surveys. When given access, collectors can invite respondents and collect feedback for others' surveys.

Collectors can view and manage the respondents they've collected, whereas the survey owner and collaborators can view and manage all survey respondents. Furthermore, survey administrators and collaborators can decide which sharing survey methods (email, link, etc.) collectors have access to.

With collectors, you have tons of possibilities, for example, account managers can survey their own customers and manage their responses, without being able to edit/change the survey.

Add Collectors

To add collectors to a survey, you have to be the survey administrator or collaborator. Furthermore, collectors have to be in a team.

  1. Go to your survey and click share on the side menu.
  2. Click on collectors and enable the feature.
  3. Select a survey collaborator as a reference account plan. The selected collaborator's plan will be used as a reference, i.e. if a collector cannot access the necessary features due to their plan, Enalyzer will use the selected collaborator's plan as a reference and give collectors the access they need.
  4. Select the methods you'd like collectors to be able to use to invite respondents and collect feedback.
    • Link: Collectors will be able to share the survey link. All collectors have a unique survey link.
    • Email: Collectors will be able to invite respondents via email.
    • Organization: Collectors will be able to invite organization members. Nevertheless, as the survey administrator/collector, you have to map the member and survey variables, as well as select the invitation that will be sent out.
  5. Finally, click add collectors and select from your organization's members. Click on filter to make it easier to find members.
  6. Select the members you'd like to add as collectors and click add.

Surveys are limited to 500 collectors.

Editing Permissions

Survey administrators and collaborators on the survey can allow collectors to add their own questions to the survey. Survey admins and collaborators are able to control where collectors can place their questions. To enable editing permissions, you have to:

  1. Go to your survey and click share on the side menu.
  2. Click on collectors (the feature should already be enabled).
  3. Enable the editing permissions toggle.
  4. Select whether collector questions should be placed before or after the following question.
  5. Finally, select the question that will serve as a reference for the placement of collector questions.

Collectors are permitted to add a maximum of 10 questions to any survey for which they have editing rights.

Remove Collectors

To remove collectors, all you have to do is:

  1. Go to your survey and select share from the side menu.
  2. Click on collectors.
  3. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the number of collectors in the survey.
  4. Click on the actions menu and select remove.
  5. Select the collectors you have to remove and click remove.
