About Media in Surveys

Adding media (videos and images) to your survey can enhance the experience for respondents. This page outlines how to insert media into your surveys.

The image supported files are:

  • GIF
  • JPG
  • PNG
  • SVG

The maximum file size is 2MB and since Enalyzer is 100% responsive, your images will adjust to any screen size automatically.

Add Images to Surveys

You can add images to your surveys before/after questions or as stand-alone elements to make your surveys more appealing and get better feedback. You can allow people to give opinions on website design or product shots, just to name a few examples. To add an image to your survey, you have to:

  1. Go to your survey, click the add element icon (GreenPlusIcon.png), and choose image.
  2. Click on upload image and find your image.
  3. If relevant, add a caption.
  4. Select the alignment of your image. You can choose between left, center, and right.
  5. Define the maximum width of your image. The maximum pixel size you can choose is set by your survey's maximum width.

Add Videos to Surveys

You can add videos to your surveys before/after questions or as stand-alone elements to make your surveys more interactive and get better feedback. You can allow people to give opinions on website design or product shots, just to name a few examples.

  1. Go to your survey, click the add element icon (GreenPlusIcon.png), and choose video.
  2. Insert a YouTube or Vimeo URL.
  3. If necessary, add a caption.
  4. When you're done click add.

FAQs

  • When using YouTube to host your video, you can mark your video as “Unlisted” to prevent people from finding the video outside of your survey. Find out how to change the video's privacy.
