About AI Translations of Survey Texts
The AI Translations of Survey Texts feature helps reduce the time and effort required to translate surveys by providing automated translations directly within the Translations interface.
Instead of manually entering translations for each survey text, users can use AI to quickly generate translations for multiple languages. This makes it faster and easier to prepare surveys for international audiences while maintaining an efficient workflow.
With this feature, users can translate only missing texts, overwrite all existing translations, or translate individual texts as needed - giving them flexible control over how translations are generated and applied.
To use the AI translation feature, you must first accept Enalyzer’s AI addendum. If you have not previously accepted it, a confirmation dialog will appear the first time you attempt to use the AI translation option. Translate a single field using AI
You can translate individual survey texts directly from the Translations page using AI. This allows you to quickly translate specific elements without translating the entire survey.
To translate a single field using AI, you have to:
- Go to your survey and select Settings on the side menu. If the menu is closed, click on the menu icon to open it first. Under Languages, click on Translations.
- In the upper right corner, select the language you want to translate. The left column displays each element in its default language, and the right column displays the language you are translating into.
- Elements without a translation will display “Translation missing” in light gray.
- Click on the field you want to translate. In the editing toolbar, select the AI translate icon
- The translation will be applied immediately to the selected field.
Translate all or all missing fields using AI
You can translate all survey texts or missing fields directly from the Translations page using AI. This allows you to quickly translate the entire survey, without having to click on every individual field at a time.
To translate all or missing fields using AI, you have to:
- Go to your survey and select Settings on the side menu. If the menu is closed, click on the menu icon to open it first. Under Languages, click on Translations.
- In the upper right corner, select the language you want to translate. The left column displays each element in its default language, and the right column displays the language you are translating into.
- Click on the Auto Translate button in the right corner, and a pop up will appear where you’ll have to accept the terms of using AI to auto-translate.

When the pop up is accepted you have to select if you want to translate all fields or only missing translations.
If you want to translate all fields, a pop up will appear where you have to confirm that all fields will be replaced, so if you have existing translations those will be replaced as well.
- All or missing survey texts will be translated immediately.
How to disable and enable 'Allow AI translations':
To enable or disable AI translations for your organization, an organization administrator must:
- Go to Organization and select Settings.
- Under Member settings, find Allow AI translations.
- Disable or enable Allow AI translations to control whether AI translations are available to members in the organization.
By default, Allow AI translations is enabled. If you disable it, the Auto Translate button and the AI translate option will no longer be available in the Translations interface.
