ABOUT SURVEY SCHEDULING OPTIONS
With surveys, timing is everything. Poorly scheduled surveys can lead to a low response rate and render your hard work irrelevant so it’s important that you create a timeline for when your survey opens/closes, as well as when to send survey invitations and reminders. With Enalyzer, you can schedule everything and the setup will only take 2 minutes.
OPEN SURVEY
When you create a survey, it is opened by default. However, if you closed your survey and would like to open it again, you have two options. You can open it instantly or schedule it.
OPEN INSTANTLY
If your survey is closed and you would like to open it immediately, all you have to do is:
- Go to your survey and select responses in the side menu.
- Click on the options menu and select schedule.
- Click on the closed survey status, and select open.
- Click save and insert your password to save the settings.
SCHEDULE SURVEY OPENING
If your survey is closed and you would like to schedule the opening, all you have to do is:
- Go to your survey and select responses in the side menu.
- Click on the options menu and select schedule.
- Enable the schedule survey opening setting.
- Select a date and time, and click save.
- Insert your password to save the settings.
CLOSE SURVEY
When you want to stop collecting responses, you can close your survey. You can close it instantly or schedule a closing time for the survey.
CLOSE INSTANTLY
To close your survey immediately, all you have to do is:
- Go to your survey and select responses in the side menu.
- Click on the options menu and select schedule.
- Click on the open survey status, and select closed.
- Click save and insert your password to save the settings.
SCHEDULE SURVEY CLOSING
To schedule the date and time your survey closes, all you have to do is:
- Go to your survey and select responses in the side menu.
- Click on the options menu and select schedule.
- Enable the schedule survey closing setting.
- Select a date and time, and click save.
- Insert your password to save the settings.
SCHEDULE REMINDERS
Scheduling reminders saves you precious time and money. By scheduling the first and second reminders, you can just sit back and rest assured that your reminders will be sent according to your plan. We recommend you send two reminders; one halfway through the survey process, and another a day or two before the closure of the survey.
To schedule your reminders, all you have to do is:
- Go to your survey and select responses in the side menu.
- Click the options menu and select schedule.
- Enable the first reminder*.
- Select the message that will be sent as a reminder.
- Set the number of days after the invitation, which is when the reminder will be sent.
- Enable the second reminder*.
- Repeat steps 2 & 3.
- Click save and insert your password to save the settings.
LIMITED RESPONSE TIME
You can give your respondents a set amount of time to answer your survey, for example, they have 5 days to answer from when they receive the initial survey invitation. To limit the response time, all you have to do is:
- Go to your survey and select responses in the side menu.
- Open the options menu and select schedule.
- Enable the limited response time* setting.
- Set the number of days after the invitation or first/second reminder (depending on your scheduling settings), which is when the survey will close for respondents.
- Click save and insert your password to save the settings.
