About Report Elements

You can add content to your reports with the following Report Elements:

You can easily manage these elements, i.e. copy, delete and move them around.

Delete Report Elements

If you no longer need a Report Element, you can delete it. All you have to do is:

  1. Go to your report, click the actions menu, and select delete.
  2. Select the element(s) you want to delete by clicking on the checkboxes (Checkbox.png). If you want to select all the elements in the Report Section, click on the select all icon ().
  3. Click the delete button.
  4. The selected elements will be deleted immediately.

Deleting charts does not delete your survey data.

Copy Report Elements

Save some time by copying Report Elements you already have created. To copy a Report Element, all you have to do is:

  1. Go to your report, click the actions menu, and select copy.
  2. Select the element(s) you want to copy by clicking on the checkboxes (Checkbox.png). If you want to select all the elements in the Report Section, click on the select all icon ().
  3. Click the copy button.
  4. A copy of the selected elements will appear at the end of the report.

Move Report Elements within a Section

You may need to change the order of your Report Elements in a report section. To move Report Elements, all you have to do is:

  1. Go to your report and select the chart(s) you want to move by clicking on the checkbox icon (Checkbox.png).
  2. Click on the actions menu, and select move.
  3. You can now choose to place your Report Element(s) before or after any element in the same section.
  4. Your elements will be moved immediately.

Move Report Elements Across Sections

You may need to change the order of your Report Elements across report sections. This can only be done in the list views, and not in the default charts view. To move elements across sections, all you have to do is:

  1. Go to your report, click on the charts dropdown menu (ChartsDropDownMenu.png), and select list.
  2. Click on the actions menu and select move elements.
  3. Make sure to expand the content of the section you're moving the charts to.
  4. Drag and drop your elements. 
  5. Click done to save your changes.

Expand or Compress Charts

If you have set your report sections to include more than one column, you can change the width of your charts. All you have to do is:

  1. Go to your report.
  2. Select the elements(s) you want to expand or compress by clicking on the checkboxes ().
  3. Click the actions menu and select expand or compress chart.
  4. Your changes will be saved immediately.

Charts expand to the right, therefore the width of your chart depends on its position in your report.
