About GDPR Compliancy

EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) took effect on May 25, 2018. GDPR harmonizes data privacy laws across the European Union (EU) and lays down rules of fundamental rights of processing and protection of personal data.

Enalyzer and all Enalyzer account holders, whether located in the EU or outside the EU, have to comply with the rules of the GDPR when collecting and/or processing personal data. The GDPR applies to Enalyzer account holders which have EU “establishments”, irrespective of whether the actual data processing takes place in the EU or not. Enalyzer account holders which are Non-EU established will be subject to the GDPR where they process personal data about data subjects who are in the EU in connection with (i) the “offering of goods or services” (payment is not required), or (ii) “monitoring” their behavior within the EU.

The impact OF GDPR compliance is potentially quite huge, so what should you do, in relation to surveying?

We have been working quite a while preparing for the new legislation to ensure Enalyzer complies with the new GDPR demands and provide you with relevant information to your surveying with Enalyzer.  Our new GDPR section addresses and provides this GDPR guidance. Read more about it.
