Enalyzer Help Center

Is my respondents' anonymity guaranteed?

When conducting an anonymous survey, respondents need to be confident that the survey will be conducted and processed in a manner that guarantees their absolute anonymity.

Therefore, when you share reports and/or charts to other parties, such as supervisors and managers, not only does Enalyzer allow you to set your survey's anonymity degree, but also the anonymity level of your reports and charts. Sharing a report based on a survey with a low level of responses can compromise your respondent's anonymity, therefore Enalyzer allows you to set a minimum of responses needed before the data can be shown to those you share your report with.

Furthermore, when it comes to comparison and time series charts or charts with data series, you can choose to anonymize single data points, so that you can still view the data that reaches the anonymity level, while the rest remains anonymized.

Apply anonymity level to reports

When you apply the anonymity level feature to your report, all charts within the report will be affected by it. Alternatively, if you are only going to share individual charts, you can apply the anonymity level feature to those

  1. Go to your report and select settings on the side menu.
  2. Under data, enable the apply anonymity level feature.
  3. Click on the new respondents field that appeared. The setting allows you to set the number of responses needed before the data is shown to those you shared the report with. This setting has a minimum of 1 respondent and a maximum of 10.

Apply anonymity level to charts

Given the chance that you want to share individual charts, instead of entire reports, Enalyzer allows you to apply the anonymity level feature to charts. Alternatively, if you are going to share entire reports, remember to apply the feature.

  1. Click on your chart's title and select settings.
  2. Click share chart. If you have already created a shared version of your chart, it will read chart shared.
  3. Enable the anonymity level feature.
  4. Click on the new respondents field that appeared. The setting allows you to set the number of responses needed before the data is shown to those you shared the report with. This setting has a minimum of 1 respondent and a maximum of 10.
  5. Remember to update changes and share the link.

Apply granular anonymity to charts

For comparison and time series charts or charts with data series, you are able to add granular anonymity, which means you can anonymize singular data points instead of the entire chart. The data points that reach the anonymity level will be shown, while the others will remain hidden.

  4. Click on content on the side menu and find the chart that you want to apply granular anonymity to.
  5. Click on your chart's title and select settings.
  6. Click on the toggle switch to enable granular anonymity.
