How do I filter my report?

Report filters are used to sort and segment respondents in your report. With Enalyzer you can use any variable to filter your report.
Pro tip: Use open and close filters to make your reports more dynamic and control viewing rights.

Open filters* allow report readers to make their own selections to the filter.

Close filters do not allow report readers to make their own selections. Close filters are useful if you wish to, for example, share a report with a manager and allow them to only see the results of their own staff.

Add open filters*

  1. If this is your first filter:
    • Click filters and add filter.
  2. If you have already created a filter:
    • Click on edit and click .
  3. Select the variable you would like to filter by.
  4. Click yes to make this an open filter.
  5. Select the default filter selection and click next. Report readers will be able to make their own selections, but the report defaults to your selections if the page is reloaded.
  6. Name your filter and click done. By default, your filter will have the same name as the variable it is based on. Changing the name of the filter allows for better understanding of the filter’s purpose.
  7. You have now filtered your report.
